Allie Gattor: Nesting

Allie Gattor’s latest collection presents a deeply personal exploration of pregnancy and the transformative journey into motherhood. Through her signature blend of humour, vulnerability, and keen observation, these drawings reveal the joys, challenges, and surreal moments of this profound life change.

Allie Gattor is a self-taught artist based in Montreal. She combines drawing techniques and a variety of mediums such as pen, pencil, ink, and watercolour, working in various formats from tiny to human scale. She recently drew attention through her participation in Artch and Créer des ponts and the Wall Street journal highlighted her work in its review of Outsider Art Fair in New York City. Her work has been exhibited at Galerie Hugues Charbonneau, at Galerie Louise et Reuben at the University of Moncton, at Mayten’s Projects (Toronto) and Andrew Edlin Gallery (New York City). Allie Gattor’s works can be found in the collections of BLG, Claridge, Majudia, and Projecore Conseils.
